E aí, bora congelar? biopedagogias da reprodução humanaassistida

Abstract

O percurso desta tese foi permeado pela possibilidade de perscrutar as postagens (pequenos textos informativos, imagens, esclarecimentos de dúvidas, informações sobre serviços disponíveis, reprodução de informações publicadas em artigos científicos de modo “simplificado”, entre outras) de quatro Clínicas de Reprodução Humana Assistida, no que diz respeito aos discursos presentes nas postagens de seus sites. A escolha deste objetivo parte do desejo de entender como essas postagens agem de forma pedagógica, no que diz respeito aos discursos que produzem clamores sobre as formas de ser e estar e de cuidar do corpo, bem como tratar sobre a economia da esperança para uma vida otimizada. A produção do material empírico ocorreu ao analisar os sites dessas Clínicas, ao discutir como essas postagens agem de forma (bio)pedagógica na vida dos sujeitos que procuram os serviços ofertados por elas. Apesar de abordar um assunto referente ao contexto tecnobiomédico, esta tese teve como premissa o olhar da Educação na Reprodução Humana. As observações foram realizadas de janeiro de 2020 a julho de 2022, com enfoque na apresentação das Técnicas de Reprodução Humana Assistida, aos depoimentos das pessoas que buscam por essas técnicas, as dicas de “sucesso” dentro da Reprodução Humana Assistida, orientadas pelas/os especialistas dessas Clínicas e a responsabilização do corpo feminino para êxito das técnicas. A não-linearidade que encontramos, quando pesquisamos na Internet, confere um descentramento que somente com a ajuda dos Estudos Culturais, e suas múltiplas formas de leitura, é possível uma problematização do que é visto, através do não visto. Assim, a análise discursiva das postagens, sobre como estas podem agir de forma pedagógica, no que diz respeito às formas de ser e estar e de cuidar do corpo, bem como garantir uma segurança biológica para o futuro dos/as filhos/as, estão associadas aos discursos de promoção da saúde e de uma política da esperança. As postagens das Clínicas, logo em sua página inicial, despontam como uma das formas mais expressivas de encontrarmos o corpo como campo político, como objeto de intervenção (no caso deste trabalho, os corpos molecular e somático), através do controle dos genes que podem desencadear doenças, ou aperfeiçoando um corpo “defeituoso” para que ele possa reproduzir. Ao incorporar estratégias educativas nos sites, através de suas postagens, as Clínicas de Reprodução Humana Assistida não apenas divulgam informações, mas também desempenham um papel ativo na formação de conhecimento e na orientação das/os pacientes. Essa abordagem educa os sujeitos sobre as opções disponíveis, promovendo um entendimento mais aprofundado das práticastecnobiomédicas na área da saúde reprodutiva, sobretudo para o gênero feminino. Nesse sentido, a temática das tecnologias reprodutivas se configura em um terreno fértil, porém, arenoso, que atua como uma biopolítica, que cria estratégias de regulação e normatização, que atua em corpos específicos e que demanda uma atenção maior por parte da sociedade, em defesa da garantia dos direitos reprodutivos e da proteção da própria integridade humana.

The trajectory of this thesis was permeated by the possibility of scrutinizing the posts (short informative texts, images, clarifications of doubts, information about available services, simplified reproduction of information published in scientific articles, among others) of four Assisted Human Reproduction Clinics regarding the discourses present in the posts on their websites. The choice of this objective stems from the desire to understand how these posts act pedagogically concerning the discourses that produce claims about ways of being, existing, and taking care of the body, as well as addressing the economy of hope for an optimized life. The production of empirical material occurred by analyzing the websites of these Clinics, discussing how these posts act in a (bio)pedagogical way in the lives of individuals who seek the services offered by them. Despite addressing a subject related to the technobiomedical context, this thesis had as its premise the perspective of Education in Human Reproduction. Observations were made from January 2020 to July 2022, focusing on the presentation of Assisted Human Reproduction Techniques, testimonials from people seeking these techniques, tips for "success" within Assisted Human Reproduction, guided by the specialists of these Clinics, and the responsibility of the female body for the success of the techniques. The non-linearity encountered when researching on the Internet confers a decentering that only with the help of Cultural Studies and its multiple forms of reading is it possible to problematize what is seen through the unseen. Thus, the discursive analysis of posts, on how these can act pedagogically regarding ways of being, existing, and taking care of the body, as well as ensuring biological security for the future of children, is associated with discourses promoting health and a politics of hope. The posts of the Clinics, right on their homepage, emerge as one of the most expressive ways of encountering the body as a political field, as an object of intervention (in the case of this work, molecular and somatic bodies), through the control of genes that can trigger diseases, or by perfecting a "defective" body so that it can reproduce. By incorporating educational strategies on their websites through their posts, Assisted Human Reproduction Clinics not only disseminate information but also play an active role in knowledge formation and patient guidance. This approach educates individuals about available options, promoting a deeper understanding of technobiomedical practices in reproductive health, especially for females. In this sense, the theme of reproductive technologies configures itself in a fertile yet sandy terrain, acting as a biopolitics that creates strategies of regulation and standardization, operating on specific bodies and demanding greater attention from society in defense of reproductive rights and the protection of human integrity.
