A formação do fonoaudiólogo e a integralidade no cuidado à população LGBTQIAPN+ : uma revisão integrativa

Abstract

Objetivo: compreender se existem estudos que contemplem a formação dos profissionais da saúde para atuar com a diversidade sexual e de gênero. Método: revisão integrativa, com buscas realizadas nas bases de dados SciELO, Embase, PubMed, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde e Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações, sem delimitação de tempo e língua, abordando o ensino em saúde do referido grupo populacional nos cursos de ensino superior em saúde. Resultados: foram incluídos 32 artigos nesta revisão. Conclusão: as instituições formadoras não possuem, ainda, programas de formação profissional adequados e abrangentes em relação à diversidade sexual e de gênero. Ainda são muito presentes estigmatizações e preconceitos em diversas áreas da saúde, sendo necessário mudar esse cenário.

Objective: to understand whether there are studies that address the training of speech therapists to work with sexual and gender diversity. Method: an integrative review, with searches carried out in the SciELO, Embase, PubMed, Virtual Health Library (VHL), and Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations databases (DLTD), until October of 2022, without language delimitation, addressing the teaching of health care for this population group in higher education health courses. Results: 32 articles were included in this review. Conclusion: the training institutions still do not have adequate and comprehensive professional training programs regarding sexua and gender diversity. Stigmatization and prejudices are still very present in various areas of health, and it is necessary to change this scenario.
