The conductimetric technique proposed by Harned and French has been used to measure diffusion coefficients of aqueous solutions of formic acid and acetic acid at 25ºC. A poplypropilene conductimetric diffusion cell was used and an exact solution for the corresponding diffusion equation is given. Experimental values of diffusion coefficients compare well with theoritical ones obtained from the theory of Onsager and Fuoss.en
