Este trabalho caracteriza a decadência conceituada e criticada por Charles Baudelaire em suas obras sobre as relações sociais estabelecidas através da modernidade na segunda metade do século XIX na Europa, especificamente na capital francesa, Paris. Contrapondo os ideais burgueses formados e consolidados, tanto política quanto economicamente, mas acima de tudo socialmente, formulados por um novo conceito moral de existência e estabelecidos por meio de uma hegemonia de comportamento de doutrinas sociais que permanecem as relações construídas no século XIX até os dias atuais, tanto a poesia quanto a prosa em Baudelaire evidenciam o simbolismo originário de imagens cotidianas na velha capital francesa e retrata as contradições e mazelas do “espírito humano”. ...
