This paper addresses the challenge of incorporating storytelling as a central element in theater classes. The act of sharing stories, used as a methodology, provided a field of study for theatrical pedagogy related to performance studies. The concept of narrative performance in this study is linked to the creation of dramaturgies and scenes based on the narratives brought by the students. It was observed that the act of sharing stories, combined with rule-based games and specific theatrical exercises, alleviated some difficulties related to listening to others, group organization, and constructive engagement among peers. It is concluded that the methodology of theater games and storytelling emerges as one of the possible paths to foster socialization and enable authentic creative processes that emphasize the development of autonomy and the role of students in their experiences within creative processes and knowledge construction. ...
