O perfil do bibliotecário escolar em relação à leitura : um pequeno recorte

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo investigar, por meio de um questionário online, o perfil do bibliotecário escolar enquanto leitor e incentivador da leitura. Apresenta como referencial teórico os conceitos de Leitura e Biblioteca Escolar. Descreve a coleta de dados realizada através do formulário online respondido por 10 sujeitos bibliotecários escolares de escolas privadas de Porto Alegre. Os dados coletados do formulário online foram analisados sendo relacionados com o referencial teórico. Identifica que há ações de incentivo e promoção à leitura nas escolas privadas de Porto Alegre e ressalta que os bibliotecários se sentem referência na formação do leitor. Finaliza com as considerações finais sobre o estudo que responde ao problema inferido e aos objetivos geral e específicos estabelecidos. Considera a leitura uma prática social importante para a ampliação do nosso conhecimento de mundo, tanto para o aluno, quanto para o bibliotecário escolar.

This work aims to investigate, through an online questionnaire, the profile of the school librarian as a reader and reading encourager. It presents as theoretical reference the concepts of Reading and School Library. It describes the data collection carried out through the online form answered by 10 school librarians from private schools in Porto Alegre. The data collected from the online form were analyzed and related to the theoretical framework. It identifies that there are actions to encourage and promote reading in private schools in Porto Alegre and emphasizes that librarians feel they are a reference in the formation of readers. It ends with final considerations about the study that responds to the inferred problem and to the general and specific objectives established. It considers reading an important social practice for the expansion of our knowledge of the world, both for the student and for the school librarian.
