Uma década de crítica musical no G1 : análise de elementos do jornalismo opinativo-musical de 2014 a 2023

Abstract

A presente pesquisa busca analisar uma série de textos apresentados na seção de música do portal G1 durante o período de 2014 a 2023. O objetivo do trabalho é entender se estes textos se caracterizam como crítica musical, bem como investigar que tipos de características são apresentadas nesta escrita. Para chegar a estes resultados, foi utilizada como metodologia a Análise de Conteúdo. O corpus da pesquisa é formado por 10 textos que falam sobre álbuns de música lançados em diferentes épocas. Os documentos foram divididos em quatro categorias que buscaram entender o perfil dos autores, as temáticas abordadas, o estilo textual e o público-alvo pensado para estas matérias. Após uma comparação com o referencial teórico sobre jornalismo opinativo e musical, foi possível concluir que estes textos se enquadram como críticas ao apresentar características fundamentais da atividade, como a mediação entre público e artista, orientação de consumo de bens culturais e a presença de contextualização histórica.

The present research aims to analyze a series of texts presented in the music section of the website G1 during the period from 2014 to 2023. The key objective of this piece is to understand whether these texts qualify as music criticism, and to investigate the types of characteristics presented in this writing. To achieve these results, Content Analysis was used as the methodology. The research corpus consists of 10 texts discussing music albums released at different times. The documents were categorized into four groups that sought to understand the authors' profile, the addressed themes, the textual style, and the intended target audience for these articles. After comparing the theoretical framework of opinionated and musical journalism, it was possible to conclude that these texts fulfill the definition of music criticism by presenting fundamental characteristics of the activity, such as mediating between the audience and the artist, guiding the consumption of cultural goods, and providing historical context.
