A abordagem da educação ambiental na educação infantil : um estudo de caso na emei irmão ambrósio de Cerro Largo RS

Abstract

Meio Ambiente é uma temática de ampla discussão na atualidade, a partir dos quais se desdobram muitos temas como preservar a nossa natureza, quais as consequências da destruição da mesma para o nosso bem-estar e ao nosso planeta entre muitos outros. Partindo do princípio de que a Educação Ambiental é uma área do ensino voltada para a conscientização dos indivíduos sobre os problemas ambientais e como ajudar a enfrentá-los, conservando as reservas naturais e não poluindo o meio ambiente, por tanto trabalhar essa temática na Educação Infantil é extremamente importante, podem ser base do futuro da sociedade, sendo elas mais facilmente sensibilizadas e motivadas a ter atitudes que visem cuidar do meio ambiente, contribuindo para um futuro mais seguro e saudável. O método de pesquisa utilizado neste trabalho de conclusão de curso foi um estudo de caso partindo de uma observação ação cujo início se deu no segundo semestre de 2022 na EMEI Irmão Ambrósio, no município de Cerro Largo/RS. Realizou-se uma entrevista semi estruturada com as 8 (oito) professoras da EMEI, e teve como objetivo saber como é desenvolvido o trabalho de Educação Ambiental na referida escola, e se esse tem promovido sensibilização no sentido de que as crianças mudem suas ações e aos que as rodeiam. Também foram realizadas algumas atividades com os alunos, como contação de histórias, pinturas após a contação de histórias, jogos, piquenique com frutas retratando a alimentação saudável, assim como uma pequena horta, onde os alunos plantaram mudas de sua preferência. A ação foi revista e reestruturada no primeiro semestre de 2023, com as demais turmas da EMEI e, neste ano além das historinhas e pinturas, auxiliaram no preparo de sanduíches naturais, os alunos tiveram o privilégio de conhecer uma Horta Orgânica localizada em uma área do centro da cidade, tiveram contato com a natureza, uma conversa com a Nutricionista que explanou para as crianças sobre alimentos saudáveis e não saudáveis onde puderam montar um prato saudável e, ainda puderam ter contato com elementos da natureza ao realizar uma plantação de hortaliças. A pesquisa evidenciou que a necessidade de formação continuada para as/o professoras/es da Educação Infantil em relação à temática Educação Ambiental, pois as entrevistadas demostraram ter apenas noções básicas sobre o ensino de Educação Ambiental. Das crianças observadas notou-se que elas demonstraram interesse as atividades propostas. Mesmo não sendo esta uma pesquisa conclusiva, pois não encerra aqui, pode-se afirmar que a Educação Infantil tem um papel fundamental no cuidado do meio ambiente, pois se desde os primeiros anos de vida o ser humano aprender a cuidar de forma consciente do mesmo e, assim, menos danos a ele causarão.

Environment is a theme of wide discussion today, from which many themes unfold how to preserve our nature, what are the consequences of its destruction for our well-being and our planet among many others. Assuming that Environmental Education is an area of education aimed at raising awareness of individuals about environmental problems and how to help address them, conserving natural reserves and not polluting the environment, so working on this theme in Early Childhood Education is extremely important, can be the basis of the future of society, being they more easily sensitized and motivated to have attitudes aimed at caring for the environment, contributing to a safer and healthier future. The research method used in this course completion work was a case study based on an action observation that began in the second semester of 2022 at EMEI Irmão Ambrósio, in the municipality of Cerro Largo/RS. A semi-structured interview was conducted with the 8 (eight) teachers of EMEI, and aimed to find out how the work of Environmental Education is developed in that school, and whether it has promoted awareness in the sense that children change their actions and those around them. Some activities were also carried out with the students, such as storytelling, paintings after storytelling, games, picnic with fruits portraying healthy eating, as well as a small vegetable garden, where students planted seedlings of their preference. The action was reviewed and restructured in the first semester of 2023, with the other classes of EMEI and, this year in addition to the stories and paintings, they helped in the preparation of natural sandwiches, the students had the privilege of knowing an Organic Garden located in an area of the city center, had contact with nature, a conversation with the Nutritionist who explained to the children about healthy and unhealthy foods where they could assemble a healthy dish and, they could still have contact with elements of nature when planting vegetables. The research showed that the need for continuing education for the teachers of Early Childhood Education in relation to the theme Environmental Education, because the interviewees showed to have only basic notions about the teaching of Environmental Education. Of the children observed it was noted that they showed interest in the proposed activities. Even though this is not a conclusive research, because it does not end here, it can be affirmed that Early Childhood Education has a fundamental role in the care of the environment, because if from the first years of life the human being learns to take care of it consciously and, thus, less damage to it will cause.
