| pt_BR |
dc.description.abstract | This work analyzes the elements that build historical resonance and which create dissonance in Battlefield V. We used as sources the game Battlefield V, whose focus was on two chapters of its campaign: Nordlys and The Last Tiger; in addition to interviews with developers and reviews from specialized portals. Through the concepts of historical resonance by Adam Chapman (2016) and selective authenticity by Andrew Salvatti and Jonathan Bullinger (2013) we seek to define which elements are characteristic to the construction of representations of the Second World War in games, which was called Brand WWII. We tried to place Battlefield V within these representations, identifying points of permanence and divergence and analyzing its reception by the public consumer. In this way, we seek to analyze the game as a producer of memory circulation about the conflict and how their divergences, while bringing up debates about authenticity, open space for a greater representation of vaguely remembered actors. | en |
