Mudanças nas práticas esportivas em uma escola federal : uma análise sobre trabalho docente e os processos de esportivização

Abstract

A Educação Física escolar passou por uma série de transformações históricas, desde sua cultura voltada a ginastica, características militares, como também já foi muito esportivizada, tratando o esporte como conteúdo principal da Educação Física escolar. Em seguida, passou e passa até hoje por um processo de novas formas de se pensar Educação Física dentro da escola inserindo o esporte, com viés educacional. O local deste estudo é uma escola constituída historicamente pela existência de equipes esportivas na qual eu fui aluno e atleta, posteriormente estagiaria. E observei uma diminuição das equipes esportivas nesse período em que estagiei. O que me fez refletir e questionar os motivos que levaram a essas mudanças nas práticas esportivas, e qual o lugar do esporte dentro da escola? O que ele representa para a comunidade escolar? Com isso, o objetivo deste estudo é analisar os motivos que levaram a mudanças nas práticas esportivas em uma escola pública federal. O estudo caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa do tipo exploratória, com elementos de caráter narrativo, a produção de dados foi feita por entrevistas semiestruturadas e construção de um mapa empírico-conceitual. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram três professores de Educação Física e um representante de cada gestão diretiva, sendo duas no total. Os resultados e discussões foram analisados em quatro categorias empiríco-analiticas, sendo elas: (1) esportivização e desesportivização; (2) trabalho docente; (3) oferta e demanda; (4) Representação social. Em seguida, foi construído um mapa empírico-conceitual, seguido da escrita de uma narrativa docente e uma narrativa das gestões. Como resultado observou-se alguns conflitos entre o grupo de professores de Educação Física, devido as diferentes culturas docentes e de entendimento do esporte dentro da escola. Assim como analisou-se alguns conflitos do grupo com as equipes diretivas da escola o que resultou em uma serie de negativas que afetaram as equipes esportivas. Contudo, ao final foi produzido uma ideia inicial de possibilidades de implementação das equipes esportivas novamente.

Physical Education at school goes through a series of historical transformations, since their culture most focused on gymnastics, their military characteristics, as it has also been most focused on sports itself, treating sports as the main content of Physical Education at school. Then, it went through and still goes through a process of new ways of thinking the Physical Education inside the school, inserting the sports, with an educational approach. The location of this study is a school historically constituted by the existence of sports teams, in which I was a student and later I was a trainee teacher. During the teaching internship, I observed a decrease in the sports teams, which made me think about what reasons led to these changes in sports practices, and what is the place of sports at school? What does it represent for the school community? Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the reasons that changed the sporting practices in a federal public school. This study is characterized as a qualitative exploratory research, with narrative elements; data production was made through semi-structured interviews and the construction of an empirical-conceptual map. The subjects of the research were three Physical Education teachers and one representative of each directive management, two in total. The results and discussions were analyzed in four empirical-analytical categories, being them: (1) sportivization and desportivization; (2) teaching work; (3) supply and demand; (4) Social representation.Then, an empirical-conceptual map was constructed, followed by the writing of a teacher narrative and a management narrative. As a result, there were some conflicts between the group of teachers, due to the different teaching cultures and the understanding of the sport inside the school. Was also analyzed some conflicts between the group and the management teams of the school, resulting in a series of negatives which affected the sports teams. At the end, it was produced an initial idea of possibilities of implementation of the sports teams again.
