O livro na educação infantil : a relação com a alfabetização e literacia

Abstract

Trazer o livro para a rotina escolar pode trazer inúmeros benefícios para a criança, como o contato com a linguagem oral e visual, conhecimento de diversas culturas e histórias que inspiram, aguçando a imaginação. Nesse sentido, o livro infantil tem a capacidade de promover nas crianças, o conhecimento através da ludicidade, sendo relevante também para a memorização e a relação de empatia com o objeto de estudo. Diante disso, o presente estudo teve como objetivo geral verificar a importância do uso do livro no contexto da Educação Infantil, sua relação com a alfabetização e letramento. Para isso, foi utilizada a revisão bibliográfica sistemática, com a intenção de verificar na literatura existente o que já tem sido abordado e pesquisado acerca da importância da literatura infantil e os benefícios trazidos para a alfabetização e literacia na Educação Infantil. Para isso, foram pesquisados materiais publicados nos últimos 5 anos, em bases de dados como SciELO e Google Acadêmico. Através deste estudo, foi possível evidenciar, nos artigos analisados, que os autores enfatizaram a importância de se utilizar o livro infantil como recurso didático para o processo de alfabetização e letramento na Educação Infantil, enaltecendo este instrumento como essencial para o desenvolvimento da linguagem, da ampliação do vocabulário, estimulando a imaginação, a criatividade e a descoberta de um mundo imaginário. Além disso, também contribui significativamente para o desenvolvimento dos aspectos emocionais, sociais, sensoriais, cognitivos e críticos.

Bringing the book into the school routine can bring numerous benefits to the child, such as contact with oral and visual language, knowledge of different cultures and stories that inspire, sharpening the imagination. In this sense, the children's book has the capacity to promote in children, knowledge through playfulness, being also relevant for memorization and the relationship of empathy with the object of study. In view of this, the present study had the general objective of verifying the importance of using books in the context of Early Childhood Education, its relationship with literacy and literacy. For this, a systematic bibliographical review was used, with the intention of verifying in the existing literature what has already been approached and researched about the importance of children's literature and the benefits brought to literacy and literacy in Early Childhood Education. For this, materials published in the last 5 years were researched in databases such as SciELO and Google Scholar. Through this study, it was possible to show, in the analyzed articles, that the authors emphasized the importance of using the children's book as a didactic resource for the process of literacy and literacy in Early Childhood Education, praising this instrument as essential for the development of language, expansion of vocabulary, stimulating imagination, creativity and the discovery of an imaginary world. In addition, it also contributes significantly to the development of emotional, social, sensory, cognitive and critical aspects.
