Êxodo rural e a sucessão na agricultura familiar no municipio de Arvorezinha/RS

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem a finalidade de investigar o fenômeno do êxodo rural que acontece na cidade de Arvorezinha/RS, assim como questões que envolvem o movimento. Para a realização deste estudo foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica para obter o embasamento teórico necessário para entender melhor como ocorre o êxodo rural, suas causas e consequências, bem como situações que envolvem a masculinização do meio rural e o seu envelhecimento. Ainda, foi realizada uma pesquisa com jovens na faixa etária de 16 a 29 anos, de comunidades rurais de Arvorezinha, onde foi aplicado questionamentos que envolvem as questões de manter-se ou não no campo, com perguntas abertas e fechadas. Após a pesquisa bibliográfica e da aplicação do questionário, conclui-se que, embora o êxodo rural seja um fenômeno que ocorre em diversos lugares do mundo, na região da pesquisa, os jovens pretendem ficar no campo junto com seus familiares na continuação da atividade rural.

The present work aims to investigate the phenomenon of rural exodus that occurs in the city of Arvorezinha/RS, as well as issues involving the movement. For the accomplishment of this study, a bibliographical research was carried out to obtain the theoretical basis necessary to better understand how the rural exodus occurs, its causes and consequences, as well as situations involving the masculinization of the rural environment and its aging. Furthermore, a survey was conducted with young people aged 16 to 29 years, from rural communities of Arvorezinha, where questions were applied that involve the issues of staying or not in the field, with open and closed questions. After the bibliographic research and the application of the questionnaire, it is concluded that, although the rural exodus is a phenomenon that occurs in several places of the world, in the region of the research, the young people intend to stay in the field together with their relatives in the continuation of rural activity.
