This work describes a model for the simulation of objects in 3D space. A rectangular mesh is used as the geometric model; each point in the mesh is considered as a particle, when applying the physical mode!. The physical model is based on direct dynamics and uses Hooke springs for simulating elasticity, curvature and torsion. The model also considers external forces, collision with objects, and user-defined constraints.en
