Mulheres na literatura portuguesa e os seus novos rumos

Abstract

Este trabalho procura evidenciar os novos rumos da literatura feita por mulheres em Portugal. Para isso, contrasta a importante Geração da Repensagem (Lídia Jorge, Eduarda Dionísio e Teolinda Gersão) com a novíssima geração de escritoras. Os romances da nova geração de escritoras, aqui estudados, são de autoria de Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida, Márcia Balsas e Ana Bárbara Pedroso. Diferentemente daquela geração, essa identifica-se num contexto em que em que valores anteriormente inquestionáveis passam a ser questionados e entram em crise (como a filosofia, a teologia, a ética, a estética...) ao lado da descoberta da necessária busca por um novo humanismo ou um novo entendimento do humano, sobretudo da mulher, neste novo contexto que caracteriza o século XXI, onde o individual se coloca sobre o coletivo. Trata-se de um trabalho de Literatura Comparada, que lança mão de alguns aspectos de teoria do gênero, mas, sobretudo, dialoga com a História e a Sociologia. Vai aos pressupostos da narrativa longa para estudar a questão do romance em seus elementos constitutivos, seja na estrutura, seja na concepção de personagens e na própria forma de narrar. Em se tratando de aporte teórico, destacam-se, entre outros autores: Mikhail Bakhtin, Gilbert Durand, Eduardo Lourenço, Izabel Allegro Magalhães.

This work seeks to highlight the new directions of literature written by women in Portugal. For this, it contrasts the important Geração de Abril (Lídia Jorge, Eduarda Dionísio and Teolinda Gersão) with the very new generation of writers (Djaimila Ribeiro, Márcia Balsas and Ana Bárbara Pedroso). Unlike the former, the latter is identified with a context in which previously unquestionable values begin to be questioned and enter into crisis (theology, ethics, aesthetics...), alongside the discovery of the necessary search for a new humanism or a new understanding of the human, especially women, in this new context that characterizes the 21st century, where the individual places himself over the collective. It is a work of Comparative Literature, which makes use of some concepts of gender theory, but, above all, dialogues with History and Sociology. Go to the theory of the novel and work with the constitutive elements of the narrative structure, creation of characters and with their own way of narrating. In terms of theoretical contribution, the following standout, among other authors: Mikhail Bakhtin, Gilbert Durand, Eduardo Lourenço, Izabel Allegro Magalhães.
