Implantação de sistema agroflorestal sintrópico agroecológico no município do Chuí-RS

Abstract

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo caracterizar e analisar a implantação de um Sistema Agroflorestal (SAF) no litoral sul do Rio Grande do Sul, o Sítio Agroflorestal Jardim das Acácias, localizado no município do Chuí, fronteira com o Uruguai. A partir da perspectiva do Desenvolvimento Rural com enfoque sistêmico apresentamos um estudo de caso único de caráter descritivo para responder como a implementação do SAF contribui para a recuperação do solo para a mudança na maneira de produzir e consumir produtos hortícolas no município do Chuí. Além de descrever a implantação, arranjo e evolução do SAF; identificamos os canais de comercialização dos produtos agroflorestais e abordamos aspectos relativos aos níveis de transição agroecológica e Educação Ambiental desenvolvida na Unidade de Produção Agrícola analisada.

The present work aims to characterize and analyze the implementation of an Agroforestry System (SAF) on the south coast of Rio Grande do Sul, the Jardim das Acácias Agroforestry Site, located in the municipality of Chuí, on the border with Uruguay. From the perspective of Rural Development with a systemic approach, we present a single descriptive case study to answer how the implementation of the SAF contributes to the recovery of the soil and to the change in the way of producing and consuming vegetables in the municipality of Chuí. In addition to describing the implementation, arrangement and evolution of the SAF; we identified the marketing channels for agroforestry products and addressed aspects related to the levels of agroecological transition and Environmental Education developed in the Agricultural Production Unit analyzed.
