Análise do Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos no município de Tabaí

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos (PAA) no município de Tabaí/RS, identificando os benefícios do Programa para as famílias de agricultores rurais e para as famílias beneficiárias, além de seus desafios e potencialidades. Para isso foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa com as famílias de agricultores familiares e com as famílias beneficiárias, através de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os dados foram analisados através de análise de conteúdo em categorias temáticas. Os resultados obtidos demostram que o Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos contribui para a melhora na alimentação das famílias beneficiadas, com mais variedade e quantidade de alimentos. Também se observa uma melhoria na renda das famílias de agricultores beneficiados. Há vários desafios encontrados no programa como a duração e permanência do mesmo, tendo o PAA muito a evoluir no município para continuar beneficiando tanto os agricultores quanto às famílias beneficiadas com o Programa. A Emater/RS tem um papel importantíssimo no município com os agricultores, auxiliando tanto na parte técnica agropecuária quanto na parte técnica social para um bom desempenho do Programa.

The present work aims to analyze the Food Acquisition Program in the municipality of Tabaí/RS, identifying the benefits of the Program for rural farming families and beneficiary families, in addition to their challenges and potential. For this, a qualitative research was carried out with the families of family farmers and with the beneficiary families, through semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed through content analysis in thematic categories. The results obtained show that the Food Acquisition Program contributes to the improvement in the diet of the beneficiary families, with more variety and quantity of food in the meals served to their children and family members. There is also an improvement in the income of the beneficiary farmers' families. There are several challenges encountered in the program, such as duration and permanence of the same, with the PAA having a lot to evolve in the municipality, benefiting both farmers and families benefiting from the program. Emater/RS has a very important role in the municipality with the farmers, helping both in the agricultural technical part and in the social technical part for a good performance of the program.
