O uso de nomes artísticos na atribuição de autoria nas Artes

Abstract

Aborda a atribuição de autoria em publicações acadêmicas e científicas na área de Artes. Objetiva discutir as implicações do uso do nome artístico, e analisar a pertinência dos identificadores persistentes de autoria, do perfil no Google Acadêmico, perfil em redes sociais acadêmicas e Currículo Lattes para desambiguação de nomes. Demonstra o caso dos nomes artísticos utilizados por seis docentes do Instituto de Artes da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, em uma busca no Google Acadêmico pelas formas variantes dos nomes registrados no Currículo Lattes, ORCID, Researcher ID e Scopus ID. Os resultados mostram grande divergência entre nome civil e nome artístico atribuídos ao mesmo autor. Conclui que o perfil no Google Acadêmico pode dirimir a dispersão das publicações sob formas variantes do nome, bem como o cômputo das citações, e que o registro no ORCID se apresenta como alternativa às limitações do Currículo Lattes para recuperação pelo nome artístico.

It addresses authorship attribution in academic and scientific publications in the field of Arts. It aims to discuss the artistic name implications, analyze the relevance of persistent identifiers of authorship, the profile in Google Scholar and academic social network, and the Currículo Lattes (curriculum vitae platform). It demonstrates the case with the artistic names used by six professors of the Instituto de Artes from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, in a Google Scholar search for the name’s variant forms registered in the Currículo Lattes, ORCID, Researcher ID and Scopus ID. The results show great divergence between civil name and artistic name attributed to the same author. It concludes that the profile in Google Scholar can resolve the dispersion of publications under variant forms of the name, as well as the citations count, and that the registration in ORCID presents itself as an alternative to the limitations of the Currículo Lattes in the recovery by the artistic name.
