Abstract in Portuguese
A anelação ...

The most important equivalent of this scarce natural source is the norlabdane oxide Ambrox®. In this work, the synthesis of compound 145, an important synthetic intermediate for the syntheses of the olfactive (-)-ambrox, from cyclohexanone 147 is reported. Stereoselective Robinson annelation of 147, folowed by reductive alkylation with metal in liquid ammonia, and Wolff-Kishner reduction, gave compound 145, wich has a 4,4,10- trimethyl-trans-decalin nucleus. Compound 145 has been synthesised in 4 steps (23 O/o yield) from cyclohexanone 147. ...
