Iniciação no futsal : uma história contada com as mulheres

Abstract

O trabalho trata da iniciação de mulheres no futsal. A modalidade está inserida na família dos jogos de bola com os pés assim como o futebol, a modalidade que originou o futsal. As práticas de futebol/futsal têm sido historicamente relacionadas a algo relativo aos homens, inclusive houve um período de proibição legal (Decreto-lei n.º 3.199/41) das mulheres jogarem futebol, sob alegação de que a modalidade não seria compatível com as condições de sua natureza. A questão histórica de proibição e verificações empíricas sobre o fato de que jogar futebol/futsal ainda não é algo relativo à trajetória de vida de meninas/mulheres, originaram o problema de pesquisa: compreender como aconteceu a iniciação no futsal de um grupo de jogadoras amadoras que segue jogando ou que interrompeu a prática. Os objetivos específicos são: a) Compreender os processos de ensino-aprendizagem esportiva, formais ou não, vivenciados pelas mulheres participantes da pesquisa, seja as que continuam jogando, seja as que interromperam a prática; b) Investigar nas entrevistas manifestações, explícitas ou implícitas, de episódios que podem ser considerados discriminatórios em razão do marcador de gênero e se tais fatos constituíram barreiras significativas para a prática da modalidade pelas participantes. Para tanto, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com 14 mulheres, sendo nove do grupo das que seguem jogando e cinco do grupo das que interromperam a prática (ocasional ou definitivamente). Da análise temática do conteúdo das entrevistas foram encontrados grande temas para discussão: Breve contextualização das histórias escutadas; Uma questão de gênero – barreiras e suportes; Início no jogo formal. O fato de terem tido uma infância com vasta experimentação de movimentos, o acesso também a brincadeiras consideradas “de menino” e o fato de terem tido grande contato com os meninos em suas rotinas de brincadeiras e experiências de movimentos são elementos que podem ter contribuído para que elas se vinculassem com o futsal e continuassem jogando ao longo da vida (inclusive aquelas que interromperam a prática), formando uma “rede” de mulheres jogadoras. O que pode ser revelador do quanto as mulheres vêm buscando seu espaço na modalidade.

The work deals with the initiation of women in futsal. The category is part of the family of ball games, just like football, a sport which gave rise to futsal. Football/futsal practices have historically been related to something related to men, there was even a period of legal prohibition (Decree-law No. 3.199/41) for women to play football, under the allegation that the sport would not be compatible with the conditions of their nature. The historical issue of prohibition and empirical verifications about the fact that playing football/futsal is not something related to the life trajectory of girls/women yet, the research problem arises: to understand how the initiation in futsal happened to a group of amateur players who continue playing or who have stopped playing. The specific objectives are: a) To understand the sports teaching-learning processes, formal or not, experienced by the women participating in the research, whether those who continue playing or those who interrupted the practice; b) To investigate, in the interviews, manifestations, explicit or implicit, of episodes that can be considered discriminatory due to the gender marker and whether such facts constituted significant barriers for the participants to practice the sport. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were carried out with 14 women, nine from the group who continued playing and five from the group who discontinued the practice (occasional or definitively). . From the thematic analysis of the content of the interviews, major themes for discussion were found: Brief contextualization of the stories heard; A question of gender – barriers and supports; Start in the formal game. The fact that they had a childhood with extensive experimentation with movements, access to games considered “boyish” and the fact that they had great contact with boys in their play routines and movement experiences are elements that may have contributed to that they bond with futsal and continue playing throughout their lives (including those who stopped playing) forming a "network" of women players. This may reveal how much women have been seeking their space in the sport.
