A sociedade corporativa segundo José Pedro Galvão de Souza

Abstract

O presente trabalho objetiva apresentar a sociedade corporativa conforme a entende José Pedro Galvão de Sousa. Para tanto, recorre-se, ao longo do texto, às bases conceituais com as quais Galvão de Sousa estudou o corporativismo. Em primeiro lugar, apresenta-se a concepção de sociedade conforme a entende o corporativismo. Depois, explora-se um princípio fundamental para a compreensão do funcionamento da sociedade corporativa, o princípio de subsidiariedade. Tal princípio aponta para a causa final do Estado, o bem comum. Explora-se o seu conteúdo, diferindo-se o bem comum fim do Estado dos outros bens. Por fim, estuda-se o municipalismo conforme a Teoria Tradicional do Município, articulando-o à representação política, que faz o liame entre sociedade e poder. É principalmente na representação política dos interesses dos membros da comunidade de vizinhos que se busca mostrar a atualidade do corporativismo como solução aos problemas da crise de representatividade que experimentamos.

This paper aims to present the corporate society as it considers José Pedro Galvão de Sousa. Therefore, we worked throughout the text the conceptual bases with which Galvão de Sousa studied corporatism. First, we present the conception of society as the corporatism understands it. Then we explore a fundamental principle for understanding the functioning of the corporate society, the principle of subsidiarity. This principle points to the final cause of the state, the common good. It explores its content, differing the common good order of the state of other goods. Finally, we study the municipalism as it is presented by the Traditional Theory of the City, linking it to political representation, which is the link between society and power. It is mainly on the political representation of the interests of members of the community of neighbors that we seek to show the topicality of corporatism as a solution to the crisis of representation of the problems we experience today.
