O linfoma de Hodgkin (LH) é uma doença com uma sobrevida elevada. Baseando-se apenas no seu estadiamento clínico, pelo menos 10-20% dos pacientes em qualquer um dos quatro grupos podem sofrer com super ou subtratamento. Vários estudos vêm tentando encontrar fatores que influenciam na resposta ao tratamento, a fim de individualizar ainda mais a terapêutica destes pacientes. O presente estudo tem por objetivo avaliar o impacto prognóstico de fatores clínicos e laboratoriais em pacientes com LH. Foram incluídos 141 pacientes adultos recém-diagnosticados com LH. As variáveis que apresentaram correlação com a resposta ao final do tratamento, em análise multivariada, foram IPS (p = 0,002), relação linfócito-monócito (p = 0,008), contagem de leucócitos (p = 0,001) e porcentagem de linfócitos ao diagnóstico (p = 0,044). Já tendo como desfecho a presença ou ausência de evento adverso (ausência de resposta ao tratamento, recaída ou óbito) durante o seguimento, apenas a contagem relativa de linfócitos foi uma variável independente preditora para ocorrência de evento adverso (p = 0,001). Gênero (p = 0,001), EORTC (p = 0,001), estágio clínico (p = 0,001), presença de sintomas B (p = 0,001) e de doença bulky (p = 0,001) e a contagem de linfócitos (p = 0,017) foram variáveis com diferença estatística entre os grupos com e sem evento adverso. Além disso, o IPS mostrou ser um escore prognóstico com significado estatístico na sobrevida livre de eventos (p = 0,001), mas não sobrevida global. ...
