A pós-graduação e o ensino de 1. e 2. graus : que contribuições podem ser oferecidas?

Abstract

O trabalho apresenta e analisa a situação dos Cursos de pós-graduação em educação no Brasil, considerando o relacionamento universidade/ensino de 1° e 2° graus, e tendo em vista as áreas de concentração oferecidas e as pesquisas realizados pelo corpo docente e discente. Discute as possibilidades e dificuldades que os programas encontram ao tentar propor mudanças na prática educacional. Sugere também tipos de contribuição que a pós-graduação poderá oferecer com o propósito de incentivar educadores, administradores e professores a uma reflexão, mudança e melhoria da realidade educacional naqueles níveis de ensino.

The paper presents and analyses the situation in the graduate programs of education in Brazil, considering the university/elementary and secundary educational systems relationhips according to the major areas of study, the research developed by professors and students. It discusses the possibilities and dificulties which the programs encounter when they pretend to make changes in the educational practice. lt also suggests the types of contribution that the graduate programs could offer to stimulate educators, admininistrators and teachers to get involved in reflective thinking, change and development of the educational realities at those levels of education.
