In this paper, we discuss the potentialities and challenges of historical approaches related to the Symmetrical Anthropology proposed by Bruno Latour and collaborators. To accomplish this goal, first, we provide a brief account about how Sociology and Anthropology of Science evolved, stressing how these different movements correlate with historiographical approaches.
