Atualmente estamos vivendo um momento crescente na busca por procedimentos estéticos, e o uso da toxina botulínica e do ácido hialurônico estão entre os procedimentos estéticos não cirúgicos mais populares para o rejuvenescimento facial. O cirurgião dentista pode contar com técnicas minimamente invasivas (procedimentos não cirúrgicos) como recurso para atender os padrões estéticos almejados pelo paciente. No entanto, a estética e harmonização da face exigem do profissional segurança na utilização dos fármacos disponíveis no mercado, domínio das técnicas e o conhecimento da anatomia da face (BASS, 2015). We are currently experiencing a growing moment in the pursuit of aesthetic procedures, and the use of botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid are among the most popular non-surgical aesthetic procedures for facial rejuvenation. We are currently experiencing a growing moment in the pursuit of aesthetic procedures, and the use of botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid are among the most popular non-surgical aesthetic procedures for facial rejuvenation. The dental surgeon can rely on minimally invasive techniques (non-surgical procedures) as a resource to meet the aesthetic standards desired by the patient. However, aesthetics and harmonization of the face require professional confidence in the use of commercially available drugs, mastery of techniques and knowledge of the anatomy of the face (BASS, 2015).
