Imagens, docência e identidade

Abstract

Este texto analisa imagens docentes a partir de uma investigação com três turmas de estudantes de três diferentes cursos universitários para formação docente. O texto discute a construção das imagens docentes a partir de imagens fílmicas e de como as imagens e identidades docentes vêm sendo debatidas na área. São analisadas imagens de docentes desenhadas por estudantes dos três cursos, a partir de atividades propostas pelos docentes das disciplinas. O texto discute os elementos mais significativos dos desenhos produzidos como representação da imagem que os estudantes e a sociedade fazem da docência e como essas imagens realimentam e reconstroem uma identidade centrada na vocação. Conclui que os estudantes, ao desenharem as figuras dos docentes, fazem referência a uma docente vocacionada, feminina, e a uma identidade construída no imaginário social como conservadora.

This article analyzes the teachers images from an investigation with three classes of students of the three higher courses of teachers formation . The text discuss the teachers image construction from the movies images and how the teachers images and identity have been discussed in the educational field. The teachers image are analyzed by the drawings made by the students of the three courses, from the activities proposed by the discipline teacher. The text discuss the more significant elements of the produced drawings as a representation image that the students and the society perform of the teaching and with those images re feed and rebuild an image focused on the vocation.The paper concludes that students' drawings represent a particular view of teaching and teachers, based on a missionary and female profession,and states that teacher identity has been socially constructed from a conservative view.
