A representatividade das mulheres na política : uma análise das leis de autoria das deputadas gaúchas no período de 1998 a 2019

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar os Projetos de Leis e Leis que contribuem para aumentar o número de mulheres atuantes na política no estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Foram selecionados Projetos de Leis aprovados ou em tramite (no total, foram encontrados 12 documentos), elaborados pelas mulheres parlamentares gaúchas, no período de 1998 a 2019, que tratavam sobre a participação da mulher na política. Assim, a pesquisa incluiu o estudo das teorias sobre ações afirmativas para aumentar a participação efetiva das mulheres na política, como forma de combater a base patriarcal e a desigualdade social de gênero, e a interpretação do texto dessas leis e ações parlamentares, evidenciando suas ações. Um dos principais aspectos que foram destacados relaciona-se à ainda persistente desigualdade de gênero na política, com foco no estado do Rio Grande do Sul, apesar dessas iniciativas legais, de modo a que esses esforços precisam ser mantidos e até ampliados

The objective of this paper is to analyze the Law and Law Projects that contribute to increase the number of women active in politics in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Approved or pending Law Projects were selected (in total, 12 documents were found), elaborated by the gaucha women parliamentarians, from 1998 to 2019, which dealt with the participation of women in politics. Thus, the research included the study of affirmative action theories to increase the effective participation of women in politics as a way to combat the patriarchal basis and social gender inequality, and the interpretation of the text of these laws and parliamentary actions, highlighting their actions. One of the main aspects that has been highlighted relates to the still persistent gender inequality in politics, focusing on the state of Rio Grande do Sul, despite these legal initiatives, so that these efforts need to be maintained and even expanded.
