Abstract in Portuguese (Brasil)

The theme of race relations in recent years has been taking place in Brazilian organizational studies. There are a variety of issues being addressed, the predominance of which is the issue of diversity and its management is a central component. When the theme of race relations is broadened to think about the issue of slavery, it appears that organizational studies have chosen to work with the contemporary manifestation of the phenomenon, that is, the work analogous to slavery. Slavery, as a concept phenomenon present throughout history, is only mentioned as a way of contextualizing texts. A different fact occurs in our human sciences, where there is significant literature on the relationship of capitalism and slavery. Thus, how is it possible that the management has nothing to do with slavery, if capitalism itself, fundamental to its development, has? It is a fact that management scholars have been denying the manifestation of slavery in its modern sense (COOKE, 2003). In Brazil, working with management ideas throughout the slavery period, Marquese (2010) demonstrates that the concept of administration has being filled over the years. One such fill was made by nineteenth-century ranchers who wrote manuals to think about the issue of slave rule. Carlos Augusto Taunay published, in 1837, the Manual do Agricultor Brasileiro, to respond to the crisis of slavery with a form of scientific application that lengthened the system and sustained order. To answer the question of what place the black was occupying in the construction of these ideas and in the materialization of this society, I show that the Taunay System developed a captive place to the black. But these, by opposing these ideas, built a dream place. Through the dialectic of blackness of Guerreiro Ramos (1995), in affirming me as a moving black man and denying whiteness, I develop the critique of organizational studies and introduce: the organizer-Negro. From this, in order to answer a broader question of worldview, I develop the part-Negro as a way of streamlining the adaptation-inadequacy relationship between the ordinary black and the politicized black. Thus, I present the fullness-Negro as a seek. ...
