História oral, memória e geração : narrativas de mulheres rurais do município de Lagoão-RS (1942-2019)

Abstract

A partir da trajetória de vida de cinco mulheres trabalhadoras rurais, dispostas em um período de vida de 1942 a 2019, moradoras no município de Lagoão, estado no Rio Grande do Sul, procuramos responder o seguinte problema de pesquisa: em que medida as mudanças históricas apontadas pela historiografia sobre mulheres nas últimas décadas têm impactado o modo de vida de mulheres rurais? Objetiva-se, assim, tensionar uma História das Mulheres que, embora tenha buscado pela pluralidade dos sujeitos mulheres, acaba negligenciando as de contextos rurais quando se atenta apenas aos movimentos de mulheres urbanas. Questiona-se a ideia de que a vida de mulheres rurais seja estanque e homogênea, sem considerar as dinâmicas existentes. Por fim, objetiva-se analisar como as relações de trabalho e de gênero se apresentam no discurso das entrevistadas a partir das suas memórias de vida, da compreensão de si mesmas e do mundo que integram. Para isso, a investigação insere-se nos campos historiográficos da História das Mulheres, História do Tempo Presente e História do Trabalho, tendo a História Oral como procedimento metodológico para a realização de entrevistas com as mulheres do município estudado.

Based on the life trajectory of five women rural workers, arranged according to the life span from 1942 to 2019, living in the municipality of Lagoão, state of Rio Grande do Sul, we seek to answer the following research problem: to what extent historical changes in women’s lives pointed out by historiography in the last decades have impacted the lifestyle of rural women? The objective is, therefore, to tension a Women’s History that, although it has sought for the plurality of female subjects, ended up neglecting those from rural contexts when it is only concerned with urban women’s movements. The idea that rural women’s lives are sealed and homogeneous, without considering the dynamics within them, is questioned. Finally, the objective is to analyze how work and gender relations are presented in the interviewees' discourse based on their life memories, and their understanding of themselves and the world they integrate. For this, the investigation is inserted in the fields of historiography: Women’s History, History of the Present Time and History of Work, using Oral History as a methodological procedure for conducting interviews with the women of the studied municipality.
