As mulheres dão conta do recado : empoderamento das mulheres através da construção civil

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como foco a mulher de baixa renda no mercado da Construção civil. O tema permeia entre os movimentos feministas, a mulher no âmbito privado e público, a noção de empoderamento feminino e a busca das mulheres por qualificação profissional na área de construção civil. O objetivo desse estudo é investigar como a atuação da empresa Diosa e da ONG Mulher em Construção, localizadas em Porto Alegre/RS, focadas na qualificação profissional de mulheres na construção civil no Brasil, repercute no auxílio para o empoderamento no âmbito público das mulheres de baixa renda. Para isso foi realizada uma entrevista exploratória, no Rio de Janeiro/RJ, com ex-aluna do Coletivo Mão na Massa, pioneiro do seguimento no Brasil, assim como, entrevistas com mulheres atuantes na empresa Diosa e na ONG Mulher em Construção. A hipótese levantada foi de que os movimentos feministas, aqui estudados através das ações da empresa Diosa e a ONG Mulher em Construção, buscam auxiliar as mulheres de baixa renda no alcance do empoderamento feminino no âmbito público, através da qualificação profissional e da inserção no mercado de trabalho. Também se esperava que após o ingresso das mulheres de baixa renda nos meios feministas, a realidade social em que vivem fosse modificada, havendo uma melhora no seu empoderamento no âmbito público, não sendo necessariamente adquirido através do seu trabalho, mas pelo contato com o grupo, com as discussões acerca do feminismo. Como resultado obtivemos que as mulheres estudadas, tiveram sua realidade social modificada e que houve uma melhora no seu empoderamento no âmbito público, não sendo necessariamente adquirido através do seu trabalho, mas pelo contato com o grupo, com as discussões acerca do feminismo.

This study focuses on the woman with low income in the context of the market of civil construction. This theme permeates the feminist movements, the woman in the private and public ambit, the notion of female empowerment and the pursuit of the woman to a professional qualification in civil construction. The objective of this study is to investigate how the actions of the feminist company Diosa and the feminist non governmental organization (NGO) Mulher em Construção, both located in the city of Porto Alegre/RS, focused on the professional qualification of women in construction in Brazil, influence the development of the autonomy in the public ambit of women with low income. For this purpose, an exploratory interview was conducted at Rio de Janeiro/RJ with a former student of the group Coletivo Mão na Massa, as well as interviews with participant women in the company Diosa and in the NGO Mulher em Construção. It was hypothesized that feminists movements, represented by the feminist company Diosa and the feminist NGO, seek to help women with low income to reach their autonomy in the public ambit, by means of professional qualification and insertion in the labor market. It was also hypothesized that women with low income would have their social reality modified, influencing positively their autonomy in the public ambit, not necessarily due to their entrance in the labor market, but due to the contact with the group and the discussions about feminism. We identified that woman have their social reality modified and that there is an improvement in their autonomy in the public ambit, mainly due to their contact with the group and their discussions about feminism and not necessarily acquired through their work.
