dc.description.abstractAs plataformas de redes sociais online têm participado e influenciado a rotina das pessoas diariamente. Estar conectado através delas tornou-se parte do cotidiano das multidões. A partir disso, algumas organizações adotam as redes sociais corporativas, que são a reprodução das plataformas de redes sociais online, porém em ambiente na web particular da instituição. Os usuários destas redes são os funcionários das empresas, e a rede está sob gestão da organização. Desta forma, o tema central da pesquisa é a participação das redes sociais corporativas na comunicação interna organizacional. No estudo, o problema de pesquisa proposto foi: Como a rede social corporativa Workplace participa da comunicação interna entre funcionários e empresa? Refletiu-se sobre: como é a participação da rede social corporativa, e quais as alterações percebidas após sua implantação, na comunicação entre funcionários e entre estes e a organização? A cultura organizacional influencia na adesão e uso da rede social corporativa? A pesquisa buscou indicar os aspectos positivos e negativos da tecnologia de redes sociais corporativas e como isso pode fazer parte do cotidiano de comunicação interna e da cultura organizacional. A plataforma de rede social corporativa escolhida para a pesquisa foi o Workplace. Duas organizações brasileiras que a utilizam foram selecionadas para estudo. Entrevistas semiestruturadas foram realizadas no segundo semestre de 2019 com funcionários das duas instituições. O estudo teve como objetivo geral analisar de que forma a rede social corporativa Workplace participa da comunicação com empregados, em dois hospitais brasileiros. Como objetivos específicos: a) apontar quais os principais usos, aplicações e barreiras na utilização de uma rede social corporativa online para a empresa e para seus funcionários; b) identificar e analisar o que motiva ou desmotiva os funcionários a utilizarem a rede social corporativa; c) analisar de que forma a plataforma de rede social corporativa modifica os hábitos de comunicação com os empregados e entre os empregados da organização; e d) analisar de que forma a cultura organizacional influencia na utilização da plataforma de rede social corporativa. A abordagem de pesquisa foi qualitativa e o método de análise de conteúdo foi utilizado para os dados obtidos. Referências teóricas foram trazidas sobre os temas: comunicação organizacional e seu aspecto relacional; comunicação interna; cultura organizacional e seus desafios e barreiras; cultura, interação e redes; caracterização e histórico das redes sociais online – tanto de uso pessoal quanto corporativas; e exemplos de redes sociais corporativas. As categorias que surgiram da análise dos dados discorrem sobre a participação do Workplace: os hábitos e características na utilização; interação; mobilidade da ferramenta; vida pessoal versus horário de trabalho; necessidade para o trabalho; falta de adesão; aspectos 7 negativos levantados pelos usuários; cultura organizacional; compartilhamento de informações; alterações na comunicação; uso pelos gestores; disseminação de conhecimento; colaboração; e uso do celular no ambiente de trabalho. A análise de conteúdo permitiu inferências, a partir da categorização e articulação com as argumentações acionadas pelo referencial teórico apresentado.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractOnline social networking platforms have participated and influenced people's daily lives. Being connected through them has become part of the crowds' daily lives. From this, some organizations adopt corporate social networks, which are the reproduction of online social networking platforms, but in an environment on the institution's private web. The users of these networks are the employees of the companies, and the network is under the organization's management. Thus, the central theme of the research is the participation of corporate social networks in internal organizational communication. In the study, the proposed research problem was: How does the corporate social network Workplace participate in internal communication between employees and the company? It was reflected on: how is the participation of the corporate social network, and what are the changes perceived after its implementation, in the communication between employees and between them and the organization? Does the organizational culture influence the adhesion and use of the corporate social network? The research sought to indicate the positive and negative aspects of the technology of corporate social networks and how it can be part of the daily routine of internal communication and the organizational culture. The corporate social networking platform chosen for the survey was Workplace. Two Brazilian organizations that use it were selected for study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in the second half of 2019 with employees from both institutions. The general objective of the study was to analyze how the corporate social network Workplace participates in communication with employees, in two Brazilian hospitals. As specific objectives: a) to point out the main uses, applications and barriers in the use of an online corporate social network for the company and its employees; b) identify and analyze what motivates or discourages employees to use the corporate social network; c) analyze how the corporate social network platform changes communication habits with employees and between employees of the organization; and d) analyze how the organizational culture influences the use of the corporate social network platform. The research approach was qualitative and the content analysis method was used for the data obtained. Theoretical references were brought about the themes: organizational communication and its relational aspect; internal communication; organizational culture and its challenges and barriers; culture, interaction and networks; characterization and history of online social networks - both for personal and corporate use; and examples of corporate social networks. The categories that emerged from the analysis of the data discuss the participation of the Workplace: habits and characteristics in use; interaction; tool mobility; personal life versus working hours; need for work; lack of adherence; negative aspects raised by users; organizational culture; information sharing; changes in communication; use by managers; dissemination of knowledge; collaboration; and use of cell phones in the workplace. The content analysis allowed inferences, from the categorization and articulation with the arguments triggered by the presented theoretical framework.en
