Abstract

As pessoas costumam prestar atenção a I e II Guerra Mundial, e por vezes, esquecem que o período entreguerras é tão importante quanto. Exatamente porque é nesse momento que surgem forças que mudariam o rumo da história. O período entreguerras de (1918-1939) foi um momento para que figuras políticas aparecessem e mudassem os rumos da história não apenas no setor político e econômico, mas também a forma como a comunicação e a propaganda são construídas. É por meio do documentário O Triunfo da Vontade (1934) de Leni Riefenstahl, que Hitler conseguiu espaço de poder na Alemanha para transmitir suas ideologias de um movimento que devastou a Europa, o nazismo. A importância do estudo desse documentário está relacionada ao modo como a comunicação se apropriou dos elementos presentes no documentário, logo sua influência no jornalismo, marketing, propaganda, cinema, etc. Como uma forma de desconstruir o documentário, serão analisadas as cenas em conjunto com suas composições de imagem, ângulo e retórica. Desse modo, buscaremos entender a relevância do documentário para aquele período e a importância dele nos dias atuais.
