| pt_BR |
dc.description.abstract | The Aerodesign is a global competition that annually challenges engineering students to develop, build and test a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) type aircraft. For the project, it is of great importance to have predictions, even if approximate, of how the aircraft will behave when it is built and tested in flight. This information significantly reduces the cost of the project and increases its agility in obtaining the best aircraft configuration. Thus, in this work, the development of a tool capable of simulating the dynamics of UAV aircraft is proposed. For this, a six degree of freedom model is used together with a small aircraft, with geometry and responses known in the literature. In this methodology, the aerodynamic, control and stability coefficients for this aircraft are calculated using the Digital Datcom aeronautical software. For the calculation of aerodynamic forces, the Linear Method of Sum of Components is employed. The dynamic model is implemented in the software Matlab Simulink, where the system of equations is solved by the Runge-Kutta method. For testing and verification of responses, the implemented model is then subjected to maneuvers with responses known in the literature and the results of the parameters of interest are analyzed. To study the chosen parameters, an analysis of the sensitivity of the model response with respect to its input parameters for a given maneuver is performed. With this strategy it was possible to verify that this tool has responses consistent with the literature. It was also found that for lateral dynamics, there is a high response dependence with practically all input parameters, while for longitudinal dynamicsm the drag, lift and momentum coefficients are the most significant. | en |
