A Transformação da paisagem no município de Sapucaia do Sul-RS : uma contribuição à educação básica e a população local

Abstract

O presente trabalho possui como tema a transformação da paisagem no Município de Sapucaia do Sul. O interesse por essa temática ocorreu devido à escassez de registros da memória urbana do município e da sua história levando em consideração a importância do lugar para o Ensino de Geografia. Pois, as transformações históricas do município estarão compreendidas nas transformações paisagísticas. Desta forma, refletir sobre esta história é pensar sobre a Geografia. A pesquisa valoriza o lugar. A compreensão das relações que ocorrem neste lugar oportuniza o desenvolvimento da cidadania, da identidade e do sentimento de pertencimento. O produto deste trabalho foi à construção de um blog que resgata a história do município e a sua memória urbana por meio da paisagem. Para que isso fosse realizado, precisou-se resgatar a historicidade do município por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas e documentais, assim como relacionar essa história com possibilidades de construção do conhecimento por meio de referenciais e metodologias da Geografia e do Ensino de Geografia. Foi analisada também a importância da história do município e das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação para o Ensino de Geografia e para a população, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com historiadores e com professores da rede pública de ensino. O blog poderá ser utilizado pela comunidade e pelos professores da Educação Básica, auxiliando a compreensão da Geografia do município e podendo se tornar uma ferramenta de construção de saberes interativa, colaborativa e personalizada.

This work has as its theme the transformation of the landscape in the Municipality of Sapucaia do Sul. The interest in this theme occurred due to the scarcity of records of the urban memory of the municipality and its history taking into account the importance of the place for the Teaching of Geography. Therefore, the historical transformations of the city will be understood in the landscape transformations. Thus, to reflect on this history is to think about Geography. The research values the place. The understanding of the relationships that take place in this place provides an opportunity for the development of citizenship, identity and the feeling of belonging. The product of this work was the construction of a blog that rescues the history of the city and its urban memory through the landscape. In order to do this, it was necessary to rescue the historicity of the city through bibliographic and documentary research, as well as to relate this history with possibilities of knowledge construction through references and methodologies of Geography and the Teaching of Geography. The importance of the history of the municipality and of Information and Communication Technologies for the Teaching of Geography and for the population was also analyzed through semi-structured interviews with historians and public school teachers. The blog can be used by the community and teachers of Basic Education, helping to understand the Geography of the municipality and can become a tool for interactive, collaborative and personalized knowledge building.
