Smartphones em sala de aula : possibilidades de uso como ferramenta didática

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como finalidade investigar a percepção dos diferentes segmentos da Escola sobre a possibilidade de uso de smartphones em sala de aula como ferramenta didática. Para tanto, buscou a opinião de professores, alunos e equipe diretiva, a fim de construir ações didáticas que possam ser efetivamente realizados. Além da pesquisa teórica, foram realizadas entrevistas com a equipe diretiva e questionários com alunos e professores da escola além de atividade prática com alunos do nono ano da C.M.E.B. Edwiges Fogaça, dentre elas, a criação de grupos de Whatsapp como meio de interação e avaliação, desafios relâmpagos, buscas simples em sites de pesquisa e a procura por aplicativos pertinentes as aulas. Os pontos de vista dos três segmentos, que apontam para diferentes resultados, como o medo da exposição e da falta de conhecimentos por parte dos professores apontado pela equipe. A dispersão por parte dos alunos, além da ciência de que não estão preparados para este tipo de ferramenta apontada pelos professores, e, os alunos , que entendem que os docentes não acreditam neste tipo de trabalho, servem como parâmetro para elaboração de atividades, tendo como base a utilização das mídias atuais, tão presentes em nosso cotidiano e por vezes esquecidas no âmbito escolar. A partir desse estudo pretende-se apresentar a percepção da comunidade escolar sobre o uso didático de smartphones no sentido de posteriormente introduzir o uso desses recursos na prática docente obtendo a maior engajamento por parte dos alunos e melhores resultados de aprendizagem.

The present work aims to investigate the perception of the different segments of the school about the possibility of using smartphones in the classroom as a teaching tool. Therefore, it search the opinion of teachers, students and the management team, in order to build didactic actions that can be effectively implemented. In addition to a theoretical research, interviews were conducted with the management team and questionnaires with students and teachers of the school, as well as practical activities with students from the ninth grade of the Edwiges Fogaça Municipal Center of Basic Education (CMEB - acronym in Portuguese) - among these activities are the creation of Whatsapp groups as a tool for interaction and evaluation, the lightning challenge, simple search at websites and the search for relevant mobile applications for the lesson. The standpoint of the three segments points to different results: the management team points to the fear of the exhibition and the lack of knowledge on the part of the teachers; teachers point to dispersal by students and to the consciousness that they are not prepared for these tools; and the students understand that teachers do not believe in these tasks. The points of view are used as parameters for elaboration of activities based on the use of current media, so present in our daily life and sometimes forgotten in the school scope. From this study, we intend to present the perception of the school community about the use, in a didactic way, of smartphones in order to later apply these resources achieving greater engagement on the part of the students and better learning outcomes.
