Bichectomia : série de casos para avaliação da eficácia da técnica operatória e acompanhamento das mudanças faciais

Abstract

Na atualidade, os conceitos de beleza têm se voltado cada vez mais pela busca de um rosto com aparência mais magra e delineada. A partir disso, inúmeras técnicas foram criadas com o intuito de alcançar esse objetivo. Dentre elas, podemos citar: a lipoaspiração facial; a injeção de lipólise e a remoção parcial da bola de Bichat, esta última pouco relatada na literatura. Recentemente houve uma popularização da bichectomia, sendo realizada, por inúmeros profissionais, mas com vários relatos de intercorrências ou de pobres resultados frente às expectativas. Dessa forma, o objetivo do presente estudo é avaliar a funcionalidade da técnica cirúrgica de remoção parcial bilateral das bolas de Bichat a curto, médio e longo prazo. Avaliou-se a aplicabilidade da técnica, a satisfação dos participantes da pesquisa, possíveis intercorrências transoperatórias e complicações pós-operatórias. O presente estudo foi realizado na Faculdade de Odontologia da UFRGS e se consistiu em uma série de casos, realizado bilateralmente nos participantes da pesquisa em uma amostra de dez indivíduos, para remoção cirúrgica parcial das bolas de Bichat. A seleção dos participantes foi por conveniência, no qual a partir da procura dos mesmos, foram escolhidos os casos que se enquadraram nos critérios de inclusão do estudo. Os interessados passaram por anamnese e exame físico. Os indivíduos selecionados tiveram a mensuração de seu peso corporal e de seus perímetros faciais (região onde a bola de Bichat está localizada) no período pré-operatório e nos períodos pós- operatórios. Previamente ao procedimento, foi aferida a pressão arterial e após o procedimento, as bolas de Bichat foram mensuradas com o uso de seringa milimetrada. Os resultados foram analisados por meio da avaliação física, fotográfica e satisfação do participante da pesquisa.

Nowadays, the concepts of beauty have been turned increasingly by the search of a face with contours leaner and delineated. From this, numerous techniques were created in order to achieve this goal. Among them, we can mention: facial liposuction; the injection of lipolysis and the partial removal of the Bichat ball, the latter little reported in the literature. Recently there was a popularization of bichectomy, being performed by many professionals, but with several reports of intercurrences or poor results against expectations. Thus, the objective of the present study is to evaluate the functionality of the surgical technique of bilateral partial removal of Bichat balls in the short, medium and long term. We evaluated the applicability of the technique, the satisfaction of the research participant, possible intraoperative complications and postoperative complications. The present study was conducted at the Faculty of Dentistry of UFRGS and consisted of a series of cases, carried out bilaterally in the participants of the research sample of ten individuals, for partial surgical removal of Bichat balls. The selection of the participants was based on convenience, in which, based on their search, the cases that fit the inclusion criteria of the study were chosen. Those interested had an anamnesis and physical examination. The individuals selected had the measurement of their body weight and their facial perimeters (region where the Bichat ball is located) in the preoperative period and in the postoperative periods. Before the procedure, the blood pressure was measured and after the procedure, the Bichat balls were measured using a millimeter syringe. The results were analyzed through the physical, photographic evaluation and satisfaction of the research participant.
