Projeto Ampliando Horizontes : inclusão Digital e Sociocultural em uma escola pública

Abstract

Vivemos em uma sociedade caracterizada por muitos como digital com uma pluralidade cultural, cheia de vivências socioculturais e diversidade de linguagens e mídias, as quais, porém, nem sempre são acessíveis para todos os públicos. Faz-se necessário a inclusão (ter acesso a) e letramento digital (saber usar socialmente as diferentes mídias) sendo produtor de novos conhecimentos e conteúdos. Neste contexto, esta pesquisa relata e analisa a contribuição das ações do projeto “Ampliando Horizontes” da E.M.E.F. Madre Assunta, nos multiletramentos digitais e inclusão sociocultural e na vida das sete meninas participantes. Durante o ano letivo de 2018 e a partir das necessidades do grupo, as atividades eram realizadas uma vez por semana no Laboratório de Informática Educativa da escola usando ferramentas midiáticas no intuito de trabalhar os diferentes tipos de letramento propostos por Warschauer e fundamentados por Santaella e Rojo. Para desenvolver o sociocultural, encontros em outros espaços públicos e institucionais normalmente fora do alcance dos sujeitos de pesquisa. A análise dos dados mostra que as estudantes tiveram uma evolução significativa no desempenho escolar, na formação de hábitos positivos, na melhora da autoestima, na expressividade, na participação atuante e no protagonismo no uso de diferentes mídias educativas e momentos socioculturais. Ao utilizar as mídias educativas como ferramenta, comprovou-se que os diferentes níveis de letramento foram trabalhados, alguns tiveram maior enfoque como o digital e informacional, sendo necessário mais tempo para desenvolver mais o comunicacional e multimídia.

We live in a society characterized by many as digital with a cultural plurality, full of sociocultural experiences and diversity of languages and media, which, however, are not always accessible to all audiences. It is necessary to include (access to) and digital literacy (to know how to use socially the different media) being a producer of new knowledge and content. In this context, this research reports and analyzes the contribution of the actions of the project "Expanding Horizons" of E.M.E.F. Madre Assunta, in the digital multi-portraits and socio-cultural inclusion and in the lives of the seven participating girls. During the 2018 school year and from the needs of the group, the activities were carried out once a week in the School's Computer Science Laboratory using media tools in order to work on the different types of literacy proposed by Warschauer and based on Santaella and Rojo . To develop sociocultural, encounters in other public and institutional spaces are usually beyond the reach of research subjects. The analysis of the data shows that the students had a significant evolution in school performance, in the formation of positive habits, in the improvement of self - esteem, in expressivity, in active participation and in the protagonism in the use of different educational media and sociocultural moments. Using the educational media as a tool, it was verified that the different levels of literacy were worked, some had a greater focus as the digital and informational, taking more time to develop more communication and multimedia.
