Fotografia e documentação museológica: reflexões e proposições a partir de um estudo de caso

Abstract

A partir da organização, pesquisa e análise realizada no acervo fotográfico do Museu Militar do Comando Militar do Sul (Porto Alegre/RS), o trabalho tem o objetivo de investigar e apresentar como a documentação museológica contribui para o trabalho do pesquisador de História e outras áreas do conhecimento. Estabelecendo um diálogo entre a documentação museológica, os estudos sobre fotografia e a análise do acervo imagético da instituição, elaborou-se uma ficha catalográfica com manual de preenchimento e sugestões de softwares para a informatização do acervo fotográfico. Com a metodologia desenvolvida ao longo do trabalho, elaborou-se possíveis análises históricas que podem ser desenvolvidas a partir da pesquisa museológica prévia, demonstrando o diálogo factível entre Museologia, História e Fotografia.

Using the organization, research and analysis carried out in the photographic collection of the Military Museum of the Southern Military Command (Porto Alegre/RS), this study has the objective of investigates and presents how the museological documentation contributes to the work of the researcher of History and other areas of knowledge. Establishing a dialogue between the museological documentation, the studies on photography and the analysis of the institution's image collection, a catalytic sheet was prepared with a manual of completion and suggestions of software for the informatization of the photographic collection. With the methodology developed throughout the work, possible historical analyzes that can be developed from previous museological research were elaborated, demonstrating the feasible dialogue between Museology, History and Photography.
