Um corpo (des)governado : hierarquias de gênero, governamentalidade e biopolítica

Abstract

O presente trabalho, de caráter ensaístico, objetiva a análise das articulações entre, de um lado, a arte (neo)liberal de governar e sua correlata biopolítica e, de outro, as noções de sexo, gênero e sexualidade. Explicita-se ainda como descontinuidades de gênero que subvertem a lógica identitária acabam desestabilizando determinadas formas de governar e, também, como um corpo não modelado no padrão cissexista de gênero pode ser capturado por novas estratégias governamentais. Para tanto, o “problema de gênero” causado por Indianara, que se identifica como uma pessoa trans e que foi detida durante uma Marcha das Vadias ao andar com os seios despidos, serviu de analisador dessas articulações, a partir da composição conceitual escolhida. Inicialmente foi revisado o conceito foucaultiano de governamentalidade para, posteriormente, entender-se a relação entre o surgimento de razões governamentais específicas e a emergência da biopolítica, que se sustenta/produz de maneira privilegiada no/o dispositivo de sexualidade. Nessa conjugação também foram utilizados os conceitos de sexo e gênero a partir de Gayle Rubin, Joan Scott e Judith Butler, entendendo-se como a subordinação da noção de gênero à noção de identidade é essencial para a eficácia das estratégias governamentais ocidentais. Problematizaram-se os binarismos cultura-natureza e gênero-sexo que obscurecem o caráter performativo do gênero. Por fim, busca-se mostrar os desdobramentos atuais do dispositivo de sexualidade, a partir da emergência de novos saberes e tecnologias que entram em cena e que atuam no sentido tanto de capturar os corpos que não se conformam aos imperativos heterossexual e cissexual, como de produzir formas de resistência e invenção.

The present work, of essayistic nature, aims at analysing the articulations between, on the one hand, the (neo)liberal art of governing and its correlate biopolitics and, on the other hand, the notions of sex, gender and sexuality. It also clarifies how gender discontinuity that subverts the logic of identity end up destabilizing certain forms of governing and, also, how a body not shaped following cissexist standards can be captured by new governmental strategies. In order to achieve that, the “gender trouble” caused by Indianara, who identifies as a trans person and who was arrested during a Slut Walk while walking bare breast, served as an analyzer of such articulations, through the chosen conceptual composition. Initially, the foucauldian concept of governmentality was revised to, afterwards, understand the relationship between the onset of specific governmental rationalities and the emergence of biopolitics, which is sustained/produces in a privilleged manner by/the sexuality device. In this conjugation, the concepts of sex and gender by Gayle Rubin, Joan Scott and Judith Butler were also used, on the understanding of how the subordination of the notion of gender to the notion of identity is essential to the efficiency of western governmental strategies. The binarisms culture-nature and gender-sex that obscure the gender's performative character were problematized. At last, the current unfoldings of the sexuality device were shown, through the emergence of new knowledge and technologies that come into play and that act not only in the sense of capturing the bodies which do not come to terms with the heterossexual and cissexual imperatives, but also producing forms of resistance and invention.
