A vida pós-acolhimento institucional : os caminhos para a proteção social

Abstract

Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso em Serviço Social objetiva refletir sobre os direitos sociais dos jovens que se encontram em situação de acolhimento institucional e que atingem a maioridade, momento no qual são desligados da instituição na qual estiveram durante uma parte significativa de suas vidas. Desta forma, busca-se, através de uma análise documental e da experiência do estágio curricular obrigatório em Serviço Social, que foi desenvolvido em uma Organização da Sociedade Civil que executa o Programa Casa Lar, discutir sobre os principais avanços e retrocessos no que diz respeito aos direitos sociais das juventudes. Entende-se que esse processo de desligamento é um momento singular na vida dos adolescentes, constituindo-se como objeto de trabalho, dentre outros, da/o assistente social inserido em espaços sócio-institucionais que ofertem acolhimento institucional. Espera-se que, ao final deste trabalho, possa-se contribuir com o debate acerca das políticas sociais elaboradas para esta parcela da população, que, por estar em desenvolvimento e passando por um momento de crescimento e transformações, exige especial atenção por parte do Estado e da sociedade civil.

This Work of Conclusion of Course in Social Service aims to reflect on the social rights of young people who are in an institutional reception situation and reach the age of majority, at which point they are disconnected from the institution in which they have been during a significant part of their lives. In this way, through a documentary analysis and the experience of the compulsory curricular internship in Social Work, which was developed in a Civil Society Organization that executes the Casa Lar Program, it is sought to discuss about the main advances and setbacks regarding the social rights of youth. It is understood that this process of shutdown is a unique moment in the life of adolescents, constituting as work object, among others, the social worker inserted in socio-institutional spaces that offer institutional reception. It is hoped that, at the end of this work, we can contribute to the debate about the social policies elaborated for this part of the population, which, being in development and going through a moment of growth and transformation, demands special attention from the State and civil society.
