Poder e jornalismo: o discurso da Folha de S. Paulo sobre as jornadas de junho de 2013 no Brasil como manutenção do poder

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como objetivo tensionar a relação entre poder, ordem social e o jornalismo, ao analisar as 15 capas do jornal Folha de S. Paulo durante o período das Jornadas de Junho de 2013, as quais estariam na origem da destituição da Presidenta Dilma Rousseff em 2016. Ao examinar as notícias veiculadas na página inicial, foram utilizados instrumentos de Análise de Discurso, assim como contextualização social e estudos das narrativas construídas com a combinação de fotos e textos. A partir das leituras, foram identificados três períodos narrativos, que irão compartimentar nossa análise ao trabalharmos com os mesmos. O estudo conclui que houve uma oscilação discursiva nas capas do veículo, seguindo a opinião pública, ao mesmo tempo que impunha seus interesses.

The present study has the objective to stress the relationship among power, social order and journalism, through the analysis of the 15 front pages of Folha de Sao Paulo Newspaper during the period of the so called Journeys of June 2013, that would be at the origin of the destitution of President Dilma Rousseff in 2016. The study examined the news presented at the front pages, using Discourse Analysis Tool, as well as the use of social context and studies of the narratives built with the combination of photos and texts. Based on the readings of News and previous researches, were identified three narrative periods, which defined the timeframe of the analysis. The study concluded that there was a discourse oscillation in the Newspaper front pages, following the streams of the public opinion, and at the same time imposing its own interests.
