O estágio foi realizado na Embrapa Trigo, localizada no município de Passo Fundo/RS, no período de oito de janeiro a dois de março do ano de 2018. O estágio foi realizado na Embrapa Trigo, localizada no município de Passo Fundo/RS, no período de oito de janeiro a dois de março do ano de 2018. O objetivo do trabalho consistiu em analisar os fatores responsáveis pela falha da adoção do Plantio Direto e avaliar alternativas para mitigação da compactação do solo em lavouras anuais. Foram realizadas determinações de taxas de infiltração de água no solo, utilizando Infiltrômetro de Cornell. No primeiro experimento utilizaram-se diferentes níveis de aporte de biomassa (elevado, médio e baixo) e ação biológica da tecnologia Microgeo, e, no segundo, diferentes aportes de biomassa e duas intervenções mecânicas (haste sulcadora de ação rasa e haste sulcadora de ação profunda acopladas à semeadora). O uso de adubo biológico não foi eficiente para aumentar a taxa de infiltração de água no solo. A utilização de uma haste sulcadora de ação profunda mostrou-se eficiente em romper a camada compactada do solo, aumentando a taxa de infiltração. Em ambos os experimentos, um alto aporte de biomassa adicionado por ano no solo obteve os melhores resultados, concluindo que o Sistema Plantio Direto atua como ferramenta indispensável para manutenção da qualidade do solo. ...
