A blitzkrieg e a transição tecnológica : decorrências para a Alemanha nos níveis do planejamento de guerra

Abstract

Este trabalho visa analisar o papel cumprido pela transição tecnológica na condução alemã da Segunda Guerra Mundial (Blitzkrieg ou “guerra relâmpago”). Para isto, parte-se da verificação da influência da Segunda Revolução Industrial e seus desdobramentos na “guerra relâmpago”. Então, pretende-se compreender o nível tático, que trata da combinação de fogos e Armas, da mobilidade e da logística. Em seguida, no nível operacional, insere-se a conexão entre doutrina, Perfil de Força e o emprego de Forças conjuntas. Ainda, no nível estratégico, aborda-se a economia de guerra. Além disso, analisa-se as duas batalhas das Ardenas, a de 1940 e a de 1944-1945, para explicar seus resultados opostos. Por fim, realiza-se um balanço da Blitzkrieg e da própria guerra como elemento de decisão.

This project aims to analyse the role fulfilled by technological transition in the German driving of the World War II (Blitzkrieg or “lightning war”). Thus, the starting point is the verification of the influence of the Second Industrial Revolution and its consequences for the “lightning war”. Hence, it intends to understand the tactical level, which deals with the combination of weapons and Arms, the mobility and the logistics. At the operational level, the conection between doctrine, Force Profile and the employment of Joint Forces is inserted. Further, the strategical level approach the war economy. In addition, the two battles of the Ardennes, in 1940 and in 1944-1945, are analysed to explain their opposite results. Finally, a balance of the Blitzkrieg and of the war itself as an element of decision is made.
