Através de uma síntese livre de solventes, foi preparado um compósito condutor de eletricidade a base de poli (sebacato de glicerol) (PGS) e polipirrol (PPy). Amostras contendo 1, 3 e 5% de PPy foram preparados, procedendo com a reação de cura, formando placas de 6 x 6 x 0,3 cm. A reação de polimerização do PGS foi confirmada por GPC, ATR-FTIR e RMN. Através de uma síntese livre de solventes, foi preparado um compósito condutor de eletricidade a base de poli (sebacato de glicerol) (PGS) e polipirrol (PPy). Amostras contendo 1, 3 e 5% de PPy foram preparados, procedendo com a reação de cura, formando placas de 6 x 6 x 0,3 cm. A reação de polimerização do PGS foi confirmada por GPC, ATR-FTIR e RMN. Comparando a obtenção das placas de PGS controle e dos compósitos PGS/PPy, observou-se que o tempo de cura das amostras diminuiu 50%. Os filmes foram caracterizados por análises térmica e dinâmico mecânicas, indicando que os compósitos são termicamente estáveis. A matriz se comporta como um elastômero a temperatura ambiente. A condutividade elétrica dos filmes de compósito é da ordem de 10 -5 S/cm, caracterizando um material semicondutor. Baseado nas características químicas da matriz, a propriedade de autorreparação foi investigada, tanto para o PGS quanto para os compósitos com PPy. Os resultados mostraram que os filmes podem recuperar sua integridade mecânica após serem cortados ao meio e reparados a 130 °C por 24 h, mantendo também a condutividade elétrica. O PGS e o PPy são bons candidatos para aplicações médicas e, em termos de propriedades mecânicas e de condutividade elétrica, são semelhantes ao tecido do miocárdio. Desta forma, foram avaliadas as propriedades de degradação e citocompatibilidade in vitro, mostrando grande potencial para que os compósitos possam ser usados como coadjuvantes no tratamento de doenças do coração. ...
