O texto traz a análise de um trabalho de Giordano Toldo: Em busca de Eliot Erwitt, onde o artista procura um diálogo com o fotógrafo Eliot Erwitt (1928-) para uma reflexão sobre o espaço urbano e a experiência com a cidade. Toldo parte das imagens realizadas para um livro dos anos 1950 pelo fotógrafo francoamericano, realizando um novo percurso pelos lugares sugeridos pelo livro. O objetivo é uma reflexão sobre as transformações da cidade, suas suas sombras, a fotografia como instrumento de conhecimento e serendiptismo.
