Comparative study of biomaterials xenograft type and alloplastic graft to alveolar reconstructive surgery with the technique of sinus lift with lateral window: a literature review

Abstract
The maxillary sinus is a procedure that aims to increase bone volume and allow the installation of implants in the atrophic posterior maxilla. Although autogenous bone is the main material used in this graft surgery, various biomaterials have been proposed to replace it, thus avoiding the risks and morbidity resulting from the surgical approach to a donor area. Thus, the present study examined, through a literature review, the alloplastic grafts and xenografts, thus making a review about them. ...
