Elaboração do corpo na criação em dança-telemática

Abstract

A dança-telemática está vinculada ao contexto da arte telemática e está localizada em ambientes virtuais denominados como ciberespaço. Esse ambiente de produção de sentidos, subjetividades e novas formas de experiências sensíveis torna-se um atraente campo de criação a partir de fins dos anos 80 com a criação da World Wide Web (www) possibilitando experiências interativas interessadas na transmissão/ recepção intercambiante de trabalhos de arte**. Ivani Santana, pesquisadora e criadora em dança e mediação tecnológica, tem se dedicado a investigar danças telemáticas desde 2001. Nesta ocasião fora artista convidada para uma residência artística na Ohio State University nos Estados Unidos, sob coordenação de Johannes Birringer. Ivani Santana é também fundadora do Projeto MAPD2 (Mapa e Programa de Artes em Dança Digital), onde viabiliza o crescimento e intercâmbio teórico-prático entre artistas e pesquisadores interessados nas questões inerentes a dança e a tecnologia. Com este entrevista estamos buscando compreender como Ivani articula algumas questões sobre o entendimento do corpo nas suas criações em dança-telemática iniciando com um panorama sobre seu projeto artístico mais recente.

The telematic dance is linked to the telematic art context and is located in virtual environments called as cyberspace. This environment of production of senses, subjectivities and new forms of sensitive experiences becomes an attractive field of creation from the end of the 80s with the creation of the World Wide Web (www) making possible interactive experiences interested in the interchangeable transmission / reception of works of art. Ivani Santana, researcher and creator in dance and technological mediation, has been dedicated to investigate telematic dances since 2001. In this occasion she was an invited artist for an artistic residence in Ohio State University in the United States, under the coordination of Johannes Birringer. Ivani Santana is also the founder of the MAPD2 Project (Map and Program of Digital Dance Arts), where she enables the growth and theoreticalpractical exchange between artists and researchers interested in the issues inherent in dance and technology. With this interview we are trying to understand how Ivani articulates some questions about the understanding of the body in her creations in telematic dance starting with a panorama about her most recent artistic project.
