Interculturalidade em saúde indígena : uma revisão de literatura

Abstract

O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso é resultado de um esforço intelectual através de revisão de literatura, focada em analisar a relação entre interculturalidade e saúde. De modo particular aborda esta relação no que se refere à saúde do Povos Indígenas, sua história, diversidade étnica e cosmologia, na relação com o Estado e as políticas indigenistas de saúde, aqui neste TCC, com foco na Secretaria Especial de Saúde Indígena/SESAI/MS. Temos um cenário bastante problemático construído ao longo do tempo nessa relação, historicamente os Povos Indígenas são concebidos como subalternos, marginalizados e estereotipados no projeto societário que originou o atual Brasil, o termo índio é um dos principais indícios do reducionismo frente a diversidade e riqueza cultural ameríndia. Como metodologia o estudo incorpora simultaneamente uma revisão de literatura, focalizando o conceito de interculturalidade e saúde dos povos indígenas, com vistas a qualificar a leitura sobre a Secretária Especial de Saúde Indígena (SESAI) e uma dimensão autográfica e do afeto, tendo em vista que sou Kaingang e minha coletividade de pertencimento e meu povo são usuários dos serviços prestados pela SESAI. Assim como meu coletivo vivencio os encontros e desencontros da falta de diálogo intercultural com a instituição e acompanho as constantes mobilizações dos coletivos indígena Kaingang e suas lideranças pela efetivação de uma política de saúde diferenciada. Em primeira pessoa, me situo como jovem Kaingang e intelectual indígena em formação, buscando uma auto reflexão das análises das questões de interesse do meu povo e de relevância para a Odontologia e seu compromisso para além do atendimento no processo saúde/doença. Atentando para a superação das amarras que colonização impôs aos Povos Indígenas e seus territórios.

The present Work of Conclusion of Course is the result of an intellectual effort through literature review, focused on analyzing the relationship between interculturality and health. In a particular way, it addresses this relationship in regard to the health of Indigenous People, their history, ethnic diversity, cosmology in relation to the State, and indigenist health policies here at this WCC, focusing on the Special Secretariat of Indigenous Health / SESAI / MS We have a very problematic scenario built over time in this relationship, historically Indigenous People are conceived as subaltern, marginalized and stereotyped in the societary project that originated the current Brazil, the term indian is one of the main indications of reductionism in face of diversity and amerindian cultural richness. As a methodology, the study incorporates simultaneously a literature review, focusing on the concept of interculturality and health of Indigenous People, with a view to qualify the reading on the Special Secretariat of Indigenous Health (SESAI) and an autographic dimension and affection, considering that I am Kaingang my collective of belonging and my peolpe are users is a user of the services provided by SESAI, and, as well as my collective, I live the agreements and disagreements of the lack of intercultural dialogue with the institution and I follow the constant mobilizations of the indigenous Kaingang collectives and their leaderships for the implementation of a differentiated health policy. In first person, I stand as a young Kaingang and an indigenous intellectual in formation, searching for a self-reflection of the analysis of the issues of interest of my people and of relevance to Dentistry and its commitment beyond the care in the health/disease process. Striving for the overcoming of the bonds that colonization imposed on Indigenous Peoples and their territories.
