Patrimônio cultural imaterial: reflexões sobre identidade, gênero e suas representações na roda de capoeira

Abstract

O presente trabalho caracteriza-se como um exercício de reflexão sobre a Capoeira enquanto patrimônio cultural e o entrelaçamento dos conceitos de identidade e gênero, sob um viés museológico. Constitui-se numa investigação das possíveis causas que ocasionam ausência de registros de Mulheres elevadas à posição Mestras na Capoeira. Para isto, foi feita uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, que se serviu de bibliografia especializada, referente à temática em evidência, além de coleta de dados obtidos por meio de entrevista com questionário semiestruturado. Apresenta em sua composição, breve histórico da Capoeira, apontamentos acerca da sacralidade, preservação e transmissão dessa tradição e como se dá o processo de formação de identidade e suas relações com a questão do gênero feminino dentro das Rodas de Capoeira, estimulando a reflexão sobre a problemática do machismo nessas tradições. Busca ainda, contribuir para dirimir a ausência de Mulheres nestas tradições e os altos índices de preconceito de gênero e cor.

The present work is characterized as an exercise of reflection on Capoeira as cultural heritage and the interweaving of the concepts of identity and gender, under a museological perspectives. It is an investigation of the possible causes of absence of records of Women elevated to the position Mestras in Capoeira. For this, a qualitative research was done, which used a specialized bibliography, referring to the topic in evidence, in addition to collecting data obtained through an interview with a semi-structured questionnaire. It presents, in its composition, a brief history of Capoeira, notes on the sacredness, preservation and transmission of this tradition and how the process of identity formation and its relations with the issue of the feminine gender within the Rodas de Capoeira, stimulating the reflection of the problematic of machismo in these traditions. It also seeks to help resolve the absence of women in these traditions and the high levels of gender and color prejudices.
