Many resources, techniques and technological innovations have been created for teaching in Dentistry, especially in Radiology. During the seventh semester, the same students were invited to perform new reports of the same radiographies (T1). For this evaluation, dentoalveolar changes were considered in interproximal and periapical radiographs. From the results obtained in T0 and T1 a descriptive analysis was performed, expressing in percentage and absolute values the obtained results, as well as the utilization of the t test for paired samples, with significance level of 0,05, in order to verify if the results differed between T0 and T1. Altogether 12 women and 3 men participated in the two moments of the research. The percentage of correct answers in T0 was 73,06% of the total of questions and in T1 was 66,31%, with significant difference between the results obtained (P = 0,0293), and only 4 students reached a better performance at the end of T1. Through the study it could be concluded that the clinical experience of undergraduate students did not improve their diagnostic capacity for dental alterations in intraoral radiographs.en
