Resolução de defeito mandibular pós-cirúrgico com utilização de enxerto fibular : caso clínico

Abstract

O ameloblastoma mandibular é um tumor odontogênico e benigno e pode ter um tratamento controverso. Ele é controverso para suas variantes patológicas (uni ou multicístico). Curetagem e amplas ressecções ósseas ocasionam defeitos ósseos que comprometem a estética e função do paciente. Neste trabalho será relatado um caso de um paciente de 48 anos, gênero masculino, submetido à ressecção segmentar de mandíbula devido a ameloblastoma multicístico com oito centímetros de extensão (localizado entre os dentes 43 e 35) foi reabilitado funcionalmente e esteticamente com implantes dentários após reconstrução mandibular com enxerto ósseo micro-vascularizado de fíbula. O retalho microvascularizado de fíbula foi eficaz na reconstrução mandibular após ressecção de ameloblastoma e, quando associado à implantes dentários, permitiu reabilitação estomatognática e melhora estética significativas.

Cure and bone resection mutations cause bone defects that compromise aesthetics and function for the patient. This paper will report a case of a patient 48 years, male, underwent segmental resection of the jaw due to multicystic ameloblastoma with 8 cm of extension between teeth 43 and 35. It was functionally and aesthetically restored with dental implants after mandibular reconstruction with micro-vascularized fibular bone. The microvascularized fibular flap was effective in mandibular reconstruction after amelobastoma resection and, when associated with dental implants, allowed stomathognatic rehabilitation and significant aesthetic improvement.
